$140,000 for Client In A Slip And Fall Accident On Ice

Our client was walking into work when he slipped and fell on ice outside of the building. The employer/insurer denied the claim, alleging that he wasn’t in the course and scope of his employment, because he wasn’t scheduled to work at that time.  

The claim was denied without any benefits paid. Our client sustained a significant head injury, was diagnosed with post-concussion syndrome and developed a stutter after the incident.  

Attorney Jenna Green settled the workers’ compensation claim for $140,000, including an agreement to remain responsible for amounts paid by the employer’s health insurance plan.
