In fall 2008, our client was driving a moped when a minivan pulled out in front of her, causing her to strike it. She was taken to Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital for treatment and evaluated by the trauma team, which identified multiple injuries including pelvic fracture and fractures to her left arm and leg.
That same day, she received multiple operations and underwent yet another set of surgeries the following day. Two weeks later, a third trip to the operating room was done to address her lower leg fractures. After nearly a month in the hospital, she was discharged.
Although our client had significant injuries, she worked hard at rehabilitation and has made an excellent recovery.
