Our client was traveling down a country road when the defendant, who was traveling in the opposite direction, made a left-hand turn directly in front of our client. Our client tried to avoid the collision, but there was not enough distance to stop. Our client was transported to the hospital for back and neck pain. Imaging showed our client sustained a fracture to his low back.
The defendant’s insurance company made a low offer. Attorney Shawn Brock filed a lawsuit. Shortly after lawsuit was filed, the case settled for $53,000.
