Our client was renting a home when he died in a house fire. He was in the process of purchasing the home.

According to the fire chief, it was an electrical fire caused by faulty wiring in the back of the stove or the stove itself.

Attorney Todd Korb argued the homeowner at the time did not have proper smoke detectors in the home. Attorney Korb persuaded the homeowner's insurance company to offer their policy limits of $300,000.
