A case involved a wrongful death for a man who was working on a machine when the machine operator started it and killed the man. Attorney Todd Korb argued there should have been a door to the area that the operator entered that would have shut the machine down, making it impossible for the operator to start the machine until the door was closed.
Attorney Korb recovered $250,000 on that case from the manufacturer, as there was a more significant issue of the man’s contributory negligence.
