On a clear summer day, Hupy and Abraham's client was riding his bicycle at the intersection of East Clybourn Street and North Broadway Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As he crossed Clybourn Street, he was hit by a westbound vehicle.
The motorist claimed he had a green light and that our client ran a red light. An independent witness initially corroborated this account. Based on this testimony, the insurance company denied the claim. But at a deposition, the witness recanted and stated that he felt the motorist must have had the red the light.
Shortly after, Attorney Todd Korb settled the case at mediation for $210,000, giving the client $100,000 after all fees and medical bills were paid.
