Our client was driving on a rural county road approximately 10:30 pm when she suddenly struck an object It was later determined that she had struck the rear of a farm tractor that had been driving on the road. The claim was denied as the insurance company argued that our client had rear-ended the tractor.
As the case proceeded, Attorney Thomas Perlberg was able to determine that there was not a slow moving vehicle triangle on the vehicle and that the rear lights were either not working or did not conform to Department of Transportation regulations.
Without the need for trial, Attorney Perlberg was able to recover a $100,000 settlement for our client.
