On behalf of The Salvation Army and the people we serve, thank you to Hupy and Abraham, S.C., for the generous support of our 30th Annual Christmas Family Feast. The 2019 Christmas Family Feast was, again, an overwhelming success.
Our programs are designed to serve all those individuals whose lives have become compromised by poverty, illness, or circumstances that have led them to our doors; doors that remain open to anyone and everyone. The Salvation Army has a long-term commitment to this community's welfare. The success of our programs speaks to the quality staff whose dedication and passion to improve the human condition, remains steadfast.
This contribution makes you part of the "Army behind the Army" and indeed fuels our mission allowing us to provide the most sustaining of all gifts...the gift of hope. Your ongoing support is a blessing to us ...thank you!
The 2019 Christmas Family Feast saw 750 total volunteers, serving an unbelievable 2,500 hours of time. This year, we served 7,000 meals to our neighbors.
Support of the 2019 Christmas Family Feast came in the way of food (turkey, ham, veggies, pies, ice cream, paper products, gift cards) to physical (driving, unloading deliveries, hotel rooms) to monetary sponsorship of this beautiful event.
