On behalf of the children and families served by Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana (RMHC-CNI), thank you for your generous gift in honor of Margaret “Mighty Maggie” Carlson.
Families face incredible stress and challenges while their children undergo lifesaving medical treatment. The DeAngelis family relied on the Ronald McDonald Family Room in Edward Hospital when their son, Carter, was six months old and diagnosed with Respiratory Syncytial Virus —a virus especially dangerous for young children. Carter’s mom, Brittany, was incredibly grateful.
“The Family Room provided us with toiletries and catered meals to make sure we were healthy and strong so that we could take care of carter. Had it not been for that, we wouldn’t have eaten. I know how important it is to help families take care of themselves during a difficult time so that they can be strong for their family. I cannot thank Ronald McDonald House enough.”
