Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee Builds Futures for children facing adversity. Our one-to-one mentoring program addresses each child’s unique needs by creating, fostering, and supporting strong one-to-one relationships between youth and caring volunteer adult mentors. Our mentoring program is free to families and produces measurable results that create generational change for the children and families we serve.
Last year, youth in our mentoring program achieved the following outcomes:
- 78% improved their social and emotional skills, leading to higher aspirations, greater confidence, and better relationships.
- 83% of our seniors graduated from high school on time.
- 99.6% avoided involvement with the juvenile justice system.
You are the first step to a brighter future for the children and families in our program. Together we are changing lives – one child at a time.
