On May 19, 2016, at Casablanca restaurant in Milwaukee, members of the community celebrated the area’s performing arts programs. The event was in honor of the United Performing Arts Fund (UPAF) that raises funds for 15 of Southeastern Wisconsin’s most prominent performing arts groups.

After hearing that UPAF was significantly far from its 2016 fundraising goal, Hupy and Abraham, S.C. president Attorney Michael Hupy announced a remedy for the lofty goal. Attorney Hupy pledged to match the first $15,000 in donations, allowing for the organization to bridge a partial amount of the fundraising gap.

Since 1967, the United Performing Arts Fund has encouraged the diverse and vibrant culture to thrive in the area. In 2016, UPAF rated as the No. 1 charity in the Milwaukee area after achieving several benchmark criteria.

Currently, Attorney Hupy serves on the UPAF Cabinet that focuses on securing donations and spreading knowledge about the organization’s mission.

Attorney Hupy and his firm have been longtime supporters of the performing arts in Southeastern Wisconsin. In the past, Hupy and Abraham, S.C. employees have participated in the UPAF Workplace Giving Campaign, where companies in similar service areas compete with monetary donations.
