Dear Hupy and Abraham, S.C.,

Thank you for being part of the Make-A-Wish family by giving children with life-threatening medical conditions hope, strength and joy. For 30 years, Make-A-Wish has been serving Wisconsin children and their families, and we could not fulfill our mission without generous donors like you. Your gift to Make-A-Wish Wisconsin through the "2014 Capital City Riders Poker Run" event will help fund the wish of Megan, age 4, whose wish to go on a Disney cruise will come true this year. A wish come true helps kids feel stronger, more energetic, more willing and able to battle their life-threatening medical conditions in the coming year.

Make-A-Wish Wisconsin has been working with caring individuals, businesses and community groups all over the state since 1984 to help children and their families during dark and challenging times. Last year we granted a record-breaking 340 wishes, and now nearly 5,000 families can attest to the transformational power of a wish, resulting for many in a turning point in the fight against their children's illnesses.

This year alone, more than 500 Wisconsin children like Megan will be diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition. Currently, more than 250 wishes are in progress throughout the state, and thanks to you, more kids like these will discover a wish come true. Jaykob wishes to go to the Pro Bowl in Hawaii, and Jonathon wishes to meet the Green Bay Packers. Emily wishes to go to Bora Bora, while Esperanza wishes to have a birthday party. And Kinsley, Eve, Kevin and many others wish to go to Walt Disney World Resort.

A wish improves a child's state of mind by replacing fear with happiness and by helping him or her feel less isolated and more empowered. On behalf of our wish families, Board of Directors and staff, we thank YOU for your heartfelt commitment to the Make-A-Wish mission.

Warmest wishes,

Nicole Williams
