Attorney Todd Korb successfully secured the statutory policy limits from the insurer for the County of Milwaukee on behalf of two clients injured in a county bus accident. The clients were entering a legally parked vehicle when a county bus driver lost control and struck them. One client was hit by the bus, dragged down the street, and tragically killed as a result of the injuries. The second client, his grandson, suffered serious injuries, including a fractured right arm that required surgery.
Attorney Korb held the county accountable for the driver’s negligence and obtained the maximum recovery allowed under Wisconsin law—$250,000 for each client, totaling $500,000.
