Our client was the passenger of a vehicle that was rear-ended in a low-speed impact accident. The insurance company attempted to argue that due to the low speed of the at-fault vehicle and our client’s pre-existing injuries, that our client’s only related treatment was the initial ER visit. We were able to successfully argue that all our client’s 8 months of physical therapy was related to accident, and her injuries were an aggravation of her pre-existing injuries. The client had around $18,000 worth of medical bills related to the accident. Attorney Bryan Olig obtained $18,000 for the client’s medical bills, as well as $17,000 in compensation for pain and suffering for a total settlement of $35,000.
