On January 24, 2019, Hupy and Abraham, S.C. was the proud sponsor of the 69th Anniversary Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony that took place at Discovery World in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The event, emceed by former Green Bay Packers football player Donald Driver, honored three new inductees – iconic golf course builder Herbert Kohler Jr., former Bucks basketball player Marques Johnson and former Packers General Manager Ron Wolf.
Hupy and Abraham Managing Partner Jason Abraham was in attendance, as well as Hupy and Abraham partner Chad Kreblin and other firm employees. The ceremony honored each of the three inductees, showing highlights from their sports careers and congratulatory video messages from former colleagues. Each of the hall of fame inductees also spoke to the audience about their careers and gave thanks to everyone for their support.
The event also showcased the “Get in the Game” exhibit at Discovery World. The Hupy and Abraham-sponsored exhibit allows museum attendees to view important Wisconsin sports memorabilia and participate in interactive activities like the “Lambeau Leap,” the 40-yard dash and the famed “Sausage Race.” Attorney Abraham spoke to the crowd during the ceremony about the new exhibit saying, “We are so grateful to sponsor this amazing exhibit. When the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame asked us if we could help make an exhibit that would help kids get more involved with and see the great things in sports we said, ‘Absolutely!’”
As the presenting sponsor, Hupy and Abraham has a display in the exhibit commemorating the firm’s 50th anniversary and commitment to the community. The firm’s display features pictures of employees at community, volunteer and charity events, as well as information about Hupy and Abraham’s corporate philanthropy and civic engagement.
