The rider and his passenger were seriously injured on Illinois Route 16 at Illinois Route 100. The two injured parties were from Grafton and Godfrey, IL.
  • Rider Injured in Grafton, IL After Colliding With Golf Cart on Highway The Illinois State Police Department has reported that a rider was seriously injured when his motorcycle struck a golf cart on Illinois Route 3 just outside of Grafton. The rider was taken to Jersey Community Hospital for serious injuries. The driver of the golf cart has been charged with improper use of a golf cart on a highway.

  • Advanced Motorcycle Training Debuts in Chicago On February 19-21 the Chicago International Motorcycle Show debuted an advanced motorcycle training school. The school, offered by Midwest Police Motorcycle Training of Illinois, will focus on training riders at every level. However, the level of training offered by their advanced course is one of the few offered in the nation. The training program uses accident reconstruction to establish what field exercises will be taught.
