Our client was injured when her car was rear-ended by a driver insured by an insurance company. Our client was offered $1,000 by the insurance adjuster the week after the accident, under the guise of helping her while she was off work. After receiving the funds, the insurance company sent a letter advising our client that she had completely settled her case.
Attorney James Shilobrit was assigned the case. Once our client’s treatment was completed, the insurance company was contacted and continued its position that her case was settled and closed. Attorney Shilobrit filed a lawsuit against the insurance company and within a few months was offered their policy limit of $25,000.
