On behalf of the Milwaukee Justice Center staff and volunteers, I want to thank you for your generous donation to the MJC on September 1, 2015. Your ongoing support of the work we do, and thus the people to we service, is admirable and inspiring. We are so fortunate to have you on our side.
I wanted to share a quick story from Tuesday afternoon: Shortly after you left the MJC, one of the clients who was waiting for assistance later asked me what was happening. I explained who you were, that you were a long-time advocate of the MJC, and that you had generously donated again to support our efforts. The women nodded and said, “Wow…that’s a good deed. He’s a good man who has helped a lot of people here.”
What a true statement! We continue to be able to serve around 10,000 clients each year utilizing over 400 volunteers in both the self-help forms clinic and the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinics because of your generosity. Thank you for being our champion from the very beginning and as we continue to grow in size and services.
