The Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer (MACC) held their 41st Annual Runway Show and Luncheon November 7, 2023, at the Hyatt Regency in Milwaukee. The proceeds of this event go toward research and awareness to end childhood cancer and related blood diseases.
Guests were welcomed to the Hyatt Regency and given the opportunity to participate in different fund-raising activities. These activities included a grand raffle, a silent auction and a wine pull.
Mark Baden, chief meteorologist at WISN TV Channel 12, emceed the luncheon. The runway show started with a special appearance by the MACC Fund kids. The fashion show then continued with models modeling clothes from Gigi MKE Boutique. After the fashion show, Dr. Christian Capitini, who was the guest speaker, spoke on the great work the MACC Fund is doing. The event concluded with a “Meet Our Mission” video and a bidding for donations.
The MACC Fund has been around for 45 years, and their mission is to fight childhood cancer and related blood disorders by researching cures and treatments.
