Thanks to the generosity of Hupy and Abraham and the hard work of Attorney Chad Kreblin and Tiaysha Bradshaw, 120 needy families in the Milwaukee area will have food to eat this Thanksgiving. With the financial support of the firm, Tiaysha has been able to continue the 17-year-old tradition that her late grandmother started to support needy people in the Milwaukee community.

Hupy and Abraham team with Thanksgiving charity founders and helpers

On Nov. 11, 2013, at the Pick ‘n Save on North 35th Street, Attorney Chad Kreblin helped distribute 120 holiday food baskets consisting of turkeys or hams, apples and oranges, cans of green beans, potatoes and pies to families in need. Tiaysha, who organized the giveaway, said, “This wouldn’t be possible without the backing of Hupy and Abraham.”

Each year, Tiaysha contacts local churches, schools, organizations and social workers to identify families in need of assistance. She then gathers her friends and family to help out with the giveaway and Hupy and Abraham shareholder Chad Kreblin is always happy to help out each year.

After Tiaysha’s grandmother, who started this tradition, passed away, her mother Patsy continued the giveaway and Tiaysha has carried the tradition onto its third generation. With the help of Hupy and Abraham and Attorney Kreblin, Tiaysha also organizes a similar food basket giveaway at Christmas time.

Hupy and Abraham has a long-standing yearly tradition of making charitable contributions instead of sending out Christmas cards to clients. As a result, hundreds of families are touched by the generosity each year and enjoy a holiday meal that may not have otherwise been possible.
