On a clear summer morning, a Moline, Illinois resident was riding his bicycle along Avenue of the Cities when tragedy struck. As he passed a parking lot, an inattentive driver ran into him. Unaware he had stuck someone, the motorist kept driving. The driver was eventually flagged down by witnesses after traveling some distance down the street.
The bicyclist was left with severe injuries and scarring from the incident. To resolve the claim, Attorney Vito Manicioto demanded the $1,250,000 policy limits be tendered within thirty days and the insurance company complied.
