National Highway Traffic Safety Administration | NHTSA
The mission of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is to "Save lives, prevent injuries, reduce vehicle-related crashes." To do this the NHTSA conducts nation and state wide studies and collects crash data from across the nation. Armed with this information the traffic safety experts issue reports and sponsor traffic safety events to try and prevent accidents.
