Hupy Law Firm's charitable contributions touched the lives of thousands of needy families throughout Wisconsin and Illinois this holiday season. From giving holiday food baskets, to providing toys for the "Kids that Santa Forgot," the law firm's commitment to giving back to the communities the serve continued.

The law firm donated $7500 to provide Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets to families in the Milwaukee area. One Hundred families received Thanksgiving food baskets filled with all the ingredients to prepare a tasty holiday meal. Another 100 families received similar baskets for Christmas. The 14th annual holiday food giveaways were held at the Pick N' Save store at 2255 N. 35th Street.

Tiaysha Bradshaw, organizer of the giveaway, continued a family tradition that began 14 years ago with her late grandmother. After her grandmother passed away, Tiaysha's mom, Patsy Bradshaw continued the program until her death two years ago. Tiaysha is now the third generation to carry on the program.

Local churches, schools, organizations and social workers are contacted to identify families that need assistance. Every year, Tiaysha's family and friends gather to assist with the giveaway. Hupy & Abraham Shareholder Chad Kreblin was also on hand for the event. "We are happy to be able to give back to the community we serve and are very appreciative of all the hard work and dedication of the Bradshaw family," said Attorney Kreblin.

In addition to the Milwaukee program, the law firm donated another $7500 to Feeding America to purchase holiday meals for thousands of other needy families in Wisconsin and Illinois. They also made a donation to Career Youth Development to support the 26th Annual "Lil Jeanetta Robinson Toys for the Children that Santa Forgot But God Remembered," event and they donated money to the Milwaukee County Sheriffs Department's toy giveaway for underprivileged children.
