Hupy and Abraham, S.C. employees at the BBWI 2015 Leadership Breakfast

Hupy and Abraham, S.C.  sponsored the Best Buddies Wisconsin’s 2015 “Leadership Breakfast” that took place at Milwaukee’s Pfister Hotel. The fundraising event honored local supporters of the nonprofit, and highlighted the organization’s recent milestones. As a sponsor of the breakfast, Hupy and Abraham, S.C. was recognized during the ceremony’s introduction.

During the event, BBWI Alumna Samantha Bear, now a local special education teacher, shared her experiences with the BBWI program and was presented with the “Spirit of Inclusion” award. Olivia Quigley, a BBWI citizen participant currently batting stage four breast cancer, explained how the volunteers and staff have helped her achieve her goals. Quigley is a multiple award-winning gold medalist from the Special Olympics.

Best Buddies of Wisconsin is dedicated to destroying the stigma of persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities by integrating them in all aspects of the community.

Hupy and Abraham, S.C.  has been involved with Best Buddies in the past. During the summer of 2015, the firm participated in the Best Buddies Friendship Walk. Several firm employees, including Managing Partner Jason Abraham attended the event to raise awareness for the organization.
