The fifth annual “Project Homeless Connect” was October 16, 2014, at Marquette University. Hupy and Abraham was a sponsor for the one-day event, where homeless people from the Milwaukee community are able to access numerous resources and services in a single location. The nature of the event’s convenience is particularly valuable when a number of people are unable to travel across the city to where the individual offices may be located.

Hupy and Abraham distributed useful items to the Homeless Connect visitors.

Volunteers were present to hand out clothing, along with housing, employment, medical, legal and educational information to visitors. Representatives were available to answer questions to those in the community. Hupy and Abraham gave a monetary donation and distributed t-shirts and DNT TXT N DRV bags and other useful legal materials that families and individuals may need. Additionally, all of the Homeless Connect participants received hygiene kits, a hot meal and a snack to take with them.

As the holiday season and winter months approach, Hupy and Abraham knows that it is especially important to give back to the community. Last year, Hupy and Abraham Shareholder Attorney Chad Kreblin assisted with the assembly of complete Thanksgiving meals and distributing them to over 100 families.
