Q: What should I do immediately upon leaving the scene of my slip and fall?
A: Seek immediate medical attention following your fall if you are injured. Do not minimize or exaggerate your injuries and make sure to tell the medical provider about every injury you sustained in the fall. Make sure to give the medical provider as much information as possible about the mechanics of your fall, as it may help them diagnose your injury. If you hit your head during your fall, report this to the medical provider immediately as head injuries can be more serious than they initially seem.
