On October 17, 2012, Hupy and Abraham, S.C.'s client was riding in a vehicle traveling on Hwy. 78 near Sunset Drive in Merrimac, Wisconsin. The driver then lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll over resulting in serious injuries for our client.
A passenger in the accident, our client was in the hospital for three weeks and had multiple fractures and surgeries. But the insurance company would not pay, claiming the policy didn't cover the driver who caused the accident.
Hupy and Abraham's attorney filed suit and after months of litigation, the judge agreed that our client should be covered and was awarded the policy limits of $250,000.
