On September 15, 2010, in Oconto County, Wisconsin, a truck driver pulling a large trailer attempted to pass our client, a farmer pulling a chisel plow. The truck driver was aware the road was narrowing due to bridge guardrails, and that our client could not cross the bridge without his chisel plow maneuvering across the centerline.
Secura Insurance Companies denied the claim and made no settlement offer. Hupy and Abraham Attorney Douglas Ross filed suit and following depositions, the matter settled at mediation for $12,500.
