In February 2011, Hupy and Abraham’s client was in his car waiting to use an ATM machine at a bank in Shawano, Wisconsin when a truck driver backed into him. The accident was recorded by the bank’s surveillance camera.
The insurance company denied the claim because it was a slow speed accident even though our client dealt with neck, back and knee pain from the accident. Attorney Brandon Derry filed a lawsuit and settled the case for $30,000 at deposition. After all bills were paid, the client pocketed more than $8,000.
