2019 Ovarian Cancer Coalition Run for Hope

Dear Hupy and Abraham,

On behalf of The 5th Annual Ride for Hope Ovarian Cancer Awareness Survivors, Volunteers and Committee, I would like to thank you for your kind and generous support of our event. Your donation added to our success! We were able to raise $35,000.00. We were able to help 2 local women who are in need of financial assistance resulting from ongoing medical treatments and recovery from ovarian cancer. We also were able to donate to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC). That money will aid the Faces of Hope Tote Program. It is a program that supplies newly diagnosed women with a tote full of information, a blanket and other goodies.

Over 800 people attended including 300+ bikers - all enjoying a beautiful day with great food, wonderful live music and a vast array of auction items. But more importantly, we were all there to SUPPORT AWARENESS of ovarian cancer. There are no tests to detect ovarian cancer. Until there is a test, the key to early diagnosis is knowing the subtle symptoms of ovarian cancer and taking action. I know this for a fact as I was diagnosed with stage ovarian cancer 34 years ago.

This is the reason I wholeheartedly believe in paying it forward to women in the community battling ovarian cancer, and support the NOCC. The NOCC work tirelessly to spread the importance of education and awareness of the early symptoms of ovarian cancer.

Ride for Hope is so very grateful to have Hupy and Abraham as a partner to continue to spread knowledge & awareness of this deadly disease. Thank you again for your generous support and cooperative spirit!.

With gratitude,
