Thank you for being a member of the African American Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin. We are so excited about 2017.
Your investment will promote the growth and sustainability of businesses especially owned by African Americans, while also promoting other diverse or women-owned enterprises. To continuously meet the concerns of our members and impact economic prosperity, we focus on four service areas: (1) Access to Capital, (2) Advocacy, (3) Business Development, and (4) Strategic Partnerships. Through workshops, one-on-one consultations, loans, contract connections and opportunities, and other related activities, we are supporting diverse businesses and overall economic projects that enhance this city, county, and state.
We are planning for 2017 with great expectation! Our second annual “Breakfast of Champions” will be held at The Pfister Hotel on Tuesday, May 9, 2017. We are anticipating out attendance will surpass 2016 of 500 attendees. In addition, we are creating more workshops to promote our Revolving Loan Fund, widening our resources to bring in more dynamic speakers for our Women In Business luncheons, making plans for our annual meeting, and developing scheduled business briefing to help out members become better acquainted with our goals.
