Mama Tried

The races were HOT and the bikes were beautiful this year at Milwaukee’s annual Mama Tried Motorcycle Show!

This celebratory weekend of all things moto kicked off Thursday at the Harley-Davidson Museum, where the Flat Out Friday-themed bike night featured Boonie bike races, chainsaw ice sculpting, gunpowder art and live music from Wild The Coyote and Badd Wolf.

The party continued the next day with the most anticipated indoor race of the season, Mama Tried’s Flat Out Friday, at the BMO Bradley Center. Eleven classes raced on the indoor Dr. Pepper-soaked floor late into the night on Friday, with classes ranging from Youth 85 to Pro, Vintage and even Hooligan featuring Larry Enticer! Hupy and Abraham’s sponsored team, Wild Pete’s Vintage Rides, was racing in the Moped, Open Amateur and BUILD class, while our sponsored rider Andy Mauk raced in the Moped, Open Amateur and BUILD class.

On Saturday, some of the best custom bikes in the country were artistically featured at the concert venue The Rave/Eagles Club. The 3,500-person capacity ballroom was packed to the walls with beautiful bikes, admiring enthusiasts and busy vendors like TC Bros, Dirty Biker Design, Rusty Butcher and ABATE of Wisconsin.
