A summary of the key changes in the Wisconsin law taking place between November 1, 2009 and June 1, 2010 is as follows:

    *Mandatory Liability Insurance For All Motorists

    *Higher Liability Insurance Limits
      (increased to $50,000 per person and $100,000 per accident)

    *Automatic Uninsured and Underinsured Motorist Coverage
      ($100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident)

    *Increased Coverage for Medical Expense Payments
      ($10,000 minimum and stacking permitted)

    *New Definition for Uninsured and Underinsured Coverage

    *Stacking of Policies and Vehicles is Permitted

    *No Reducing Clauses Allowed in Insurance Policies
