CCN Magazine’s third annual Midwest Urban Empowerment Awards dinner took place at the Hyatt Regency located in downtown Milwaukee. The awards at the event are given to those throughout Milwaukee who have proven to be true leaders of the community. Jason Abraham, partner of personal injury law firm, Hupy and Abraham, was given the Philanthropic award.

The advisory committee for the awards chose Abraham as the recipient based on his presence and commitment throughout the city of Milwaukee. As one of the top law firms in Wisconsin, Hupy and Abraham has taken its influential role in the community very seriously. Abraham has demonstrated a true commitment to fighting for client’s needs.

Last year alone, Hupy and Abraham donated over $150,000 to more than 100 community organizations. The law firm’s recent efforts throughout Milwaukee have been: supporting the Milwaukee branch of the NAACP by making a $100,000 donation to their scholarship fund, food drives and cash donations to food banks throughout the Milwaukee area, breast cancer awareness projects and the Black and Blue ball and event co-sponsor for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

There is no cause that is too small for the law firm of Hupy and Abraham The firm is dedicated to other local events that are held by churches and other community organizations. The firm also offers reward money for tips that will help solve crimes in the communities in which their offices are located.
