- Brown-Sequard Syndrome: Either the left side or the right side of the spinal cord is injured, while the opposite site remains unhurt. - Cauda Equina Lesion: The nerves located between the first and second lumbar region are hurt in this type of injury. Partial or a complete loss of sensation is possible.
