Attorney Michael Hupy joined Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley and Milwaukee Parks Foundation Executive Director Rebecca Stoner to discuss the return of the highly anticipated Milwaukee County Parks Drone & Pyrotechnics Show, set for July 3 at McKinley Beach.

The popular community celebration is returning thanks in large part to the generosity of Attorney Michael Hupy and the law firm of Hupy and Abraham. Once again, Hupy has stepped forward as the event’s Presenting Sponsor, personally contributing $60,000 toward the fundraising effort. In addition, Hupy and Abraham has pledged another $10,000, bringing the firm's total commitment to $70,000 and making it one of the largest supporters of the event.

“After hearing the incredible feedback from the community following last year’s show, I’m honored to step up again as presenting sponsor,” said Hupy. “Bringing people together for a shared celebration like this is something I deeply believe in.”

The total cost of this year’s event is approximately $250,000. According to Milwaukee County Parks Director Guy Smith, the drone and pyrotechnics show costs roughly half as much as a traditional fireworks display while providing a unique and environmentally conscious experience for attendees.

To help reach the remaining fundraising goal, Milwaukee County Parks has secured a $50,000 challenge grant that will match the final dollars raised. Helping kick off that effort, the law firm of Hupy and Abraham's additional $10,000 donation demonstrates its longstanding commitment to supporting community events that bring families together and enhance quality of life throughout southeastern Wisconsin.

“Because the community has been so loyal to my law firm for so many years, Hupy and Abraham is proud to make an additional contribution to help ensure this event returns for families across southeastern Wisconsin,” said Hupy.

For decades, Michael Hupy and Hupy and Abraham have invested in initiatives that strengthen local communities, support charitable organizations and create opportunities for families to come together. Their combined $70,000 contribution reflects that ongoing commitment and helps ensure that this free public event remains accessible to thousands of residents and visitors.  Beyond his role as a leading attorney and founder of Hupy and Abraham, Hupy serves as President of Milwaukee Crime Stoppers

Taking place on July 3 at McKinley Beach, the Drone & Pyrotechnics Show will once again combine cutting-edge drone technology with a spectacular fireworks display, creating a synchronized visual experience that captivated thousands during its inaugural year.
