The Mobility Conquest Trike, also called The Conquest, is a bike that challenges the way we view disabilities.  For too long those suffering from severe back and other debilitating injuries have had to watch motorcycles pass them by or ask for a ride behind the rider.  No longer.  The Conquest allows you and your wheelchair to hit the open road in style.  Please read on to learn more about how The Conquest works:

  • About The Conquest- The innovative trike was brought to the United States by the company Mobility Conquest. Mobility Conquest is a national chain of wheelchair accessible van retail stores. Now the company has expanded its line to include The Conquest, a wheelchair accessible BMW motorcycle that was first engineered in the UK.
  • Specs- A few highlights from the specs page include: an acceleration rate of 0-60 in 7.6 seconds, a 15 second standing ¼ mile, top speed of 105 MPH and a fuel consumption rate of 45 MPG at 56 MPH. The gearbox is a "6-speed (1 down, 5 up) conventional clutch with semi-automatic Kilktronic thumb operated gear change and mechanical reverse gear."

While the staff and attorneys at Hupy & Abraham do not necessarily endorse any particular company, we are excited by this new bike.  We see all too many disabled riders who long to get their freedom back, the freedom of operating their own bike on a long winding road.  Hopefully the Mobility Conquest Trike, and other bikes like it, will help wheelchair-bound riders regain their rightful place on the road. As avid riders ourselves, we look forward to seeing you there!
