Our client received a $225,000 settlement after slipping in an icy alleyway

On a winter day in February, our client was walking through an alleyway that was covered with ice. He slipped, fell and injured his left shoulder.

He underwent surgery to repair a full thickness rotator cuff tear and a biceps tendon tear. Unfortunately, two surgeries to repair the tears failed. Not wishing to endure a third potentially unsuccessful procedure, our client refused a third. He had impairment ratings of 12 percent (defendants' doctor) and 14 percent (IME doctor). He also had permanent restrictions on lifting up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis.

Attorney Jenna Green settled the case for $150,000.00, plus $75,000.00 for future medical care.
