Our client was a pedestrian walking alongside the road when a vehicle came from behind and struck her causing her to fall down and fracture her ankle. The police who investigated the accident put all the blame on our client for walking on the wrong side of the road with traffic so she couldn’t see the vehicle coming.
The insurance company for the vehicle operator denied the claim. Attorney Todd Korb sent a demand to the insurance company and was able to get them to change their mind. The case was settled for $17,000.
