One question that I’m consistently asked by motorcyclists is ‘Do I need to have a lawyer that rides?’ The answer to that is no.

You want to have a lawyer experienced in trial work representing you if you’re involved in an accident. But, being a motorcycle enthusiast and rider like I am, that does add a twist that does help injured motorcyclists if they’ve been involved in an accident. When it comes to specific things like property damage, extras that we put on our bikes, things that we see as riders, my experience as a rider does become helpful when representing injured people.

Do you absolutely have to ride to represent someone injured on a motorcycle? No. But, does it help? Absolutely it does. At Hupy and Abraham, we have numerous employees that ride and spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on motorcycle safety and related causes.
