Wisconsin/Illinois Attorney Wins $3.5 Million for Bikers Family

A large settlement ends a yearlong battle with the insurance company, MetLife.  The case involved Clinton Callahan, a young father and husband, who was killed while riding his motorcycle near the Wisconsin-Illinois border. 

Callahan pulled out from a stop sign when a car crossed in front of him, causing Callahan's motorcycle to hit the vehicle. The accident was caused by the driver of the car.  Policed cited her at the scene for failure to yield.  Though Callahan was wearing a helmet the accident ended his life.

For Jason Abraham the tragic loss of a fellow biker prompted his firm to begin a campaign for motorcycle awareness.  Throughout Milwaukee and the Midwest billboards, bumper stickers and television commercials urged drivers to be more aware of motorcycles on the roadway.
