Two motorcycle riders were injured when one rear-ended the other. The biker in the front, Josh Brian Price of Brooking, was attempting to pull onto the shoulder of the road when he was struck from behind.
Police reports indicate that Price did use his turn signal and looked to the rear when exiting the roadway. However, the second rider, Edward Dell Ellis, also of Brooking, hit Price as he pulled over. The second bike, a Harley, was driving at about 50 MPH when the accident occurred.
Both bikers were ejected from their bikes and taken to Madison Community Hospital where they were treated for their injuries. The condition of the bikes was listed as totaled and disabled.
