Tragic Motorcycle Accidents in Wisconsin Lead to Injury, Death

Posted on May 14, 2010

Recently, multiple motorcycle accidents lead to three deaths and several injuries.  All of the accidents occurred over a single weekend in Wisconsin.

On a single Saturday motorcycle accidents in Pierce, Dunn and Lafayette counties resulted in three deaths.  In Dane County there were reports of a multiple motorcycle accident that lead to several injuries.

According to police the Pierce County collision was the result of a car hitting a motorcycle at Wisconsin 35 and County Road E.  The biker and his passenger were thrown from their bike when a car struck them at the intersection.  Though they were taken to local hospitals the passenger lost her life and the biker is still being treated for his serious injuries.

In Dunn County it was reported that another motorcyclist was killed when he collided with an 18-wheeler.  High winds are being looked at as a cause of the accident.

The attorneys at Hupy & Abraham would like to extend our condolences to the family members of the bikers who lost their lives.  We hope that those injured in the multiple accidents recover quickly and fully from their injuries.

As always were urge drivers to Watch for Motorcycles every time they get behind the wheel.  Too often drivers do not take the time to check for bikers before making a move in traffic.  If you would like to request a free bumper sticker urging motorcycle awareness please use our contact form by clicking here.
