On December 22, 2009, Milwaukee Police Chief Edward Flynn and Attorney Michael F. Hupy held a news conference at the 3rd District Police Station in Milwaukee. On behalf of Hupy & Abraham, Attorney Hupy donated three defibrillators to be assigned to City of Milwaukee police cars. The Hupy family donated an additional two defibrillators to be used in patrol cars.

The City of Milwaukee needs a total donation of 250 defibrillators from businesses and individuals in the community who are willing to help save lives by allowing the Milwaukee Police Department to have this technology in case of an emergency. The units cost about $1500.00 each.
