Thank you for your very generous donation in support of Silver Spring Neighborhood Center's continued work which assists those in need. On behalf of the Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, and the members we are privileged to serve, we wish to express our gratitude for your support.
Located in the heart of Westlawn, the State's largest low income public housing development, Silver Spring provides wraparound social services to 8,652 participants in Northwest Milwaukee. Every day, we strive to address their needs compassionately and holistically.
Since its founding in 1958, the Center has worked from within the community to support the lives of individuals, families, and the surrounding neighborhood. Our core programs include the Early Childhood Education Center, youth development programs, emergency services, adult education, the UWM Silver Spring Community Nursing Center, teen leadership clubs, and our transitional jobs program. With the three off-campus Community learning Centers we manage, we assist even more young people by providing safe and worthwhile after school programs at four local MPS elementary schools.
