Thank you for your incredible support of Make-A-Wish Wisconsin! We are so grateful for your generous Strength sponsorship in support of the Fox Cities Walk for Wishes. Through your amazing generosity, hundreds of kids will feel stronger, more energetic, more willing and able to battle their life-threatening medical conditions this year. For many their wish makes a turning point in the fight against their illness! We are thrilled to present you with this plaque in honor of your continued support of this important event.
As we continue to grant more wishes for local children, your support is so incredibly important. This year alone, more than 500 Wisconsin kids will be diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition, qualifying them for a wish come true. Every contribution will help reach our important goal of granting a life-affirming wish for every medically qualified child.
“Whenever Colin didn’t want to take his meds, or was hurting from treatment, or scared of procedures or surgeries…we reminded him that there was something amazing coming – his wish trip,” said his parents after returning from his wish to go to Walt Disney World Resort. “Thank you for being the light at the end of our tunnel. Thank you for giving our boys a gift of joy and healing we could not give them ourselves”
Currently, more than 330 children like Colin are in the process of receiving wishes throughout Wisconsin, and thanks to you, more local children like these will experience the power of a wish. Adam wishes to go to Spring Training and James wishes to meet the Boston Bruins. Jordan wishes to go to Alaska while Emma wishes to go to Hawaii and Cora, Isabella, Nolan and many others wish to go to Walt Disney World Resort.
A Wish improves a child’s state of mind replacing fear with happiness and helping him or her feel like a normal kid again. On behalf of wish families, our Board of Directors and Staff od Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin, we thank YOU for your heartfelt commitment to the Make-A-Wish mission.
