The Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee held its 94th Anniversary Celebration at the Italian Community Center on September 2, 2010. Hupy & Abraham was one of the sponsors of the event. Firm attorneys Chad Kreblin, Tim Schelwat, Jim Shilobrit, Evan Claditis and Todd Korb attended the event.

The Legal Aid Society helps disadvantaged people who need legal representation obtain free legal services. At the event, the Legal Aid Society presented a Thomas G. Cannon Equal Justice Medal to Dr. Earnestine Willis of the Medical College of Wisconsin for her work for healthcare of underserved children. Ellen Bravo founder of the Milwaukee Chapter of 9 to 5, also received a Medal for her work in advocating for humane working conditions. Finally, Peter Isley received a Medal for his work in advocating on behalf of those abused by clergymen.
