Hupy & Abraham recently co-sponsored the 2009 Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee Luncheon. The event was attended by various politicians and lawyers representing every prominent law firm in Milwaukee. Speaking at the Luncheon were Milwaukee County Board Chairman Lee Holloway, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett and United States Senator Herb Kohl. During the event, the Hupy Law Firm was personally thanked by the Legal Aid Society for our support of this worthy organization.

The Legal Aid Society provides legal services to Wisconsinites who cannot otherwise afford such services. Specifically honored at the luncheon were lawyers who helped represent the deaf, the NAACP, and Wisconsin citizens who were not paid minimum wage at work pursuant to state law.
