On Saturday, April 18, 2015, several community members gathered for the third annual Shielded Hearts Bowl-A-Thon, benefiting the Shielded Hearts organization that provides resources for families of police officers.

The bowl-a-thon allowed teams to compete in a bowling tournament where all entrances fees supported Shielded Hearts.  Shielded Hearts was originally created as a group where wives of police officers could speak to each other about their experiences. Over the years, the program has now expanded to support over 40 law enforcement departments and their families in the Milwaukee area.

Shielded Hearts offers a variety of aid to these families, including giving financial assistance to the families of officers injured while on duty, offering moral support for those experiencing hard times and providing gifts for less advantaged youth that officers interact with.

Hupy and Abraham has been a sponsor of the Bowl-A-Thon since its inception. Shielded Hearts thanked the firm for its support last year, and is currently spreading hope for the police community and its loved ones.
