On November 5, 2015, HeartLove Place held its CHAIR-ity breakfast and art auction. Hupy and Abraham, S.C. was a presenting sponsor of the breakfast. Attorney Todd Korb attended the event on behalf of the firm. HeartLove Place is one of Milwaukee’s community hubs, that provides support and resources for children, families and individuals.

The breakfast was prepared by recent graduates of the program’s culinary class, and local students teamed up with artists to decorate chairs that were auctioned off for fundraising purposes. Last year, funds to HeartLove allowed the organization to reach over 5,000 families, assist 300 children and serve more than 50,000 meals to the hungry.

Thelma Sias of WE Energies was the keynote speaker. During her speech, Sias discussed how important it is to support programs that help remove obstacles and barriers for young people in the community. HeartLove Place’s mission is “With a heart of love, teach, encourage and support families through programs and services centered in Christian values.” This has allowed the organization to assist thousands in the community since 1999.

Hupy and Abraham, S.C. has supported several community organizations over the years. In 2015, Attorney Hupy helped fingerprint over 100 children at HeartLove Place’s “Back to School Family Rally.”
